V... Evey....

So as everybody went to see that movie and since Bouddha and I wanted to go see a movie in english, we thought it was wise to go see V for Vendetta.

So we went to take our tickets early and went to take a little something to eat while waiting for the hour to come.

After some pasta All'arabiatia for Bouddha and a salad of tomatoes and mozzarella for me (I did have an "apéro" with home made crisps earlier...), we went up to the theater to go place our selves....

We are the naive persons of the group, all right, but how were we to know that all the good places were taken???? we were only left with two seats in the very front row! It was quite impossible for me to see clearly, subtitles went by in a blur and our necks were threatening a riot.

After a few minutes of previews like that, we decided it was far worst to be seated in a good cushioned seat at about 2 1/2 meter of a big screen than to be seated in the stairs but at a good height, were we could actually see the action!

All in all, the movie proved to be a good one (must go find the comic book for a check) and we did have a really nice time together! Bouddha did get out of the theater with a squared buttock and I did need a hand to get up, my knee refusing stubbornly to wake up, but after a few minutes we were all good to go!!!¨

Well, thanks for the good movie and all!!!

i would be inclined to agree. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie, perhaps inpart due to my ignorance of the comic book.

Destruction in London... can it really get any better ???

Plus, the mask is bleedin deadly. offers up a few ideas for next Halloween.

I actually prefer movies in theatre when it's empty. More silence. More comfort. More choice (from where can I read subtitles?). Unfortunately, to see big movies (with big advertising), it's often impossible. So, either the little discomforts aren't so weighty, or you can borrow the DVD (or buy it if you are rich).
I know that I'm breaking open doors (does one say that in English?), but I can train my wonderful English! Hee hee. And write some comment on your blog. I’m happy now, and I can study again !!!
