petit week-end enneigé!

This week-end it snowed quite a bit and it was more than we needed to plan a snow shoe walk up the mountain with the snow boards on Raf's back.

That is my first "rando-surf"! And to tell you the whole truth, walking up the mountain I wasn't sure I was up to the task of surfing down the slope with all that snow! But men, that was great as can be! Plus I had a ski mask that you use in bad weather and that has a yellow colour. It does make you very euphorical (is that english???).

We went up for a bit more than an hour and decided to go down as the weather got worse (snow storm and all!!"no, just some fairly good snowfall). we began our journey down and god it felt so good!!!! that feeling of freedom when there is no one around you (or just the loner with his dog and his skis) and the whole mountain is for you to ride it's just so great I can not explain! And really, if you feel down 'cause the weather sicks, go buy yourself one of those yellow masks and you'll feel better!

I had the best ride ever, the snow was light as feathers and the turns were smooth.

So, who's going with us next time? anyone interested?

Next ski trip (in the wild range) is "la vallée blanche" that we'll try to do mid April.
